I will hate I will hurt by Andreea Gurban
Well, this doesn’t really look finished to me but for now I’m stuck and I want to upload it, what’s the story… I’m walking home from work one day, was nice, dusty and hot but that’s bucharest sooo, right when I’m thinking maybe I should try something a bit more happy and hopeful why not,then I see this fat kid, properly dressed, throw this small kid in a wall and then kick him in the back, now what really got me is that the kid on the floor screaming and crying was wearing just some shorts, that’s it, i don’t even know if he had shoes on, you could see his bones skinny, dirty with blonde scruffy hair, well that was just disgusting, it was like 2 worlds meeting right there, the fat rich kid kicking a crying smaller kid that probably beggs for money, I don’t know about you but sometimes I get so angry I see red, honestly I do, I thought I was gonna strangle that fat kid, I didn’t why? well I’m still sorry I didn’t at least tell him off, but last time I stood up to a kid like that (gipsy) I kinda got my arse kicked by a bunch of them and what am I gonna do anyway, pick on a kid that probably gets beaten up himself, I don’t know when I looked at that skinny kid that’s what I saw, I’m a bit crazy like that, that’s really what I saw, only difference is the shadow hands were really feet but that’s it, words included, I sincerely hope the place you live in is happier than this

In the bestiary there’s also a garden. It’s walled off though, so the beasts can’t trample it! I loved painting the undulating fin shapes of this piece, so I had to do another. 15×30cm, watercolour, chalk pastel, ink, conte, iridescent pigments and copper leaf on canvas. “J’accuse” was featured in the group Surrealism The original work is a pointillistic ink drawing on white paper. / Please tell me if you intend to buy this piece – it may be good as is, but I still plan on high quality scanning… As to the title: / J’accuse (“I accuse”) was an open letter published on January 13, 1898 in the newspaper L’Aurore by the influential writer Émile Zola. The letter was addressed to President of France Félix Faure, and accused the government of anti-Semitism and the unlawful jailing of Alfred Dreyfus, a French General Staff officer sentenced to penal servitude for life for espionage. Zola pointed out judicial errors and lack of serious evidence. The letter was printed on the first page of the newspaper, and caused a stir in France and abroad. Zola was prosecuted and found guilty of libel on February 23, 1898. To avoid imprisonment, he fled to England, returning home in June 1899. Other pamphlets proclaiming Dreyfus’ innocence include Bernard Lazare’s A Miscarriage of Justice: The Truth about the Dreyfus Affair (November 1896). As a result of the popularity of the letter, even in the English-speaking world, J’accuse! has become a common generic expression of outrage and accusation against a powerful person. (Wikipedia) / /

Cathartic Sunrise Triptych (Oils)- by Robert Dye
This triptych piece was produced with oils on framed wooden panels. It conveys both personal realizations regarding my life, and universal concepts of seeking truth and purity. / The main center panel is 3ft X 3ft, and depicts a canyon of depth with a spinal-like predominant tree. The other trees on the upper portion of it create an outlined facial image with the sun rising in the distance (of the mind). Glass is glued to and protruding from the roots of the center spine-like tree, and the other tree roots are branching into the space of the canyon like a nervous system. / The left panel is 1ft X 2ft and depicts a tree that functions in three ways visually: it is the body of a woman; it is the left hand of the central spatial figure; and it is the natural element of a tree. / The right panel is 1ft X 2ft and also serves to represent three things: It creates the spatial form of the right hand of the central form; it is a landscape containing beautiful natural elements; and it conceptual conveys human potential and spiritual wonderment by using the prismatic crystalline forms rising from the ground. / I was inspired to create this after a near death experience that I had had. I was in a horrible car wreck which occurred one early morning, when I was driving out into the country to watch the sunrise in solitude. This expresses the sunrise that I wasn’t able to view, but was later enabled to create from the awakening experience. It was completed in 2000.

Greetings RBers I am creating a new set of images using face manipulations to create the Zodiac. / I have already created Aries (My own sign) / I wondered if anyone out there would like me to transform them into the other signs. I just thought a gallery of fellow RBers transform into the 12 signs of the Zodiac might be be pretty cool. / Now at the risk of sounding like a complete mercenary all I ask is that if I create a modification of you is that you provide a few head shots of yourself and that you buy a laminated print. / Aries is not available / And Pieces is probably taken. Pen And Ink Illustrations I did for a professor Who was teaching a course on Daniel / Revelation, at a Bible college. He used these illustration as part of his teaching materials. / The book of Daniel is a prophetic book give us a glims of the goverment that will rule over the world in the last day of human history on this earth.
