This derelict farm gave way to the forestry commission, you can see the pine forest approaching ….. an interesting fact is, the rock group Led Zeppelin, after completing a world tour, decided to chill and stay at a property called ’ Bron y aur ’ , which just happens to be a short way down a track from here. It was there that they wrote their album ’ Led Zeppelin III ’, which, contains the track ’ Bron y aur stomp ’. The latest occupant, which happens to be a vicar, is displeased by the confiscation of roof tiles etc., by worldwide fans, who are seeking a momento of the groups stay ….... Light trails of the standby LED of my computer monitor’s on/off switch in the “Off” state (orange). The international symbol for an on/off switch (a broken circle with a vertical bar through the break) can be seen in bright outline. A five second exposure at macro focus distance and smallest aperture with smooth slow camera movement by hand produced the swirling light trails. / Copyright © 2008 Brian W. After carrying out a world tour, Led Zepplin wanted to disappear to a remote place in their homeland of the UK. They ended up at Bron y Aur, a remote cottage in Mid Wales. There was no electricty there at the time, but they managed to practice and write their album Led Zepplin III, upon which is a track named after the cottage …. Bron y Aur stomp . I came across it by accident, whilst out on a hike, there is a namestone at the start of the exceptionally long driveway and once read, the penny dropped …. The present owner isnt too happy about fans worldwide, turning up on his doorstep , seeking momentoes from the structure ….. These are beautiful crystal clear acrylic sculptures & inside is a colored LED light *that is amplified by the contours of each butterfly, hummingbird or dragonfly. They *looks so awesome in my garden…the best part, they can also water my garden, if *i attach the clear hose that came w/it. The LED changes color gradually, setting a *romantic mood, outside, for hubby and me. ( I also have some in a vase in the *bedroom)

This was a lady of a poorer social status, begging for money just outside her concrete house in small Nubian village just south of Aswan, Egypt. I had gone to this village and was absolutely touched by the hospitality of the villagers, however this particular lady’s sorrow and despair was something I could not forget.

Came up with this when I was just sort of monkeying around with that ol’ ink. As is, it takes up the upper right hand corner of a piece of white sketch paper. I’m thinking of incorporating it into a larger work, but need to find the time to dedicate to filling out the rest of the page, but I have so many other projects I’m working on right now that it may take a while to do so. Color corrected and inverted by way of GIMP.
