Mooney Falls is a waterfall on Havasu Creek, in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Arizona, near the town of Supai in the Havasupai Indian Reservation. It is named after prospector D. W. “James” Mooney who fell to his death trying to cross the canyon on a homemade ladder. Local Native Americans called it “Hualapai” or “Hualpai” falls. It is located about 1 kilometre downstream (i.e. to the north) of Havasu Falls, just past the large campground that lies between the two falls. Mooney Falls is accessible with considerable difficulty down a very steep trail (including two rock tunnels) that has been cut into the rock. Chains and a ladder at the bottom assist, but spray from the falls coats the dust-covered rock with water and reddish mud that makes climbing treacherous.

Suddath Due to a successful brook trout restoration program, for the first time in 30 years, anglers are now able to fish for brook trout in park streams of the Smoky Mountains. These streams were once ruined by logging. The brook trout was also rooted out my non native rainbow and brown trout. Our waters are precious for our life and all of natures, help keep them clean. This image was taken on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Great Smoky Mountain N.P.

Matryoshka on Hols was born from my passion for vintage wooden dolls…I thought how cute it would be to dress her in some holiday gear, especially since Russia is usually a very cold place from what I hear…it’s nice to give her a break in a nice warm sunny climate such as Australia :D and and I’ve taken the liberty of giving her a bit of gypsy flair! Maybe she’ll like Australia and decide to stay here? / Maybe she’ll like wearing this bikini and buy some more in different colours? / Maybe she’ll pop up again somewhere when you least expect it, in a vivid array of daring colours! / or…maybe she’ll go home to Russia and we’ll see her in some traditional dress sometime? We’ll just have to wait n see! She could pop up anywhere, any time hehe

On our way to shoot night shots at Mont Saint Michel we pulled over in a side lane to find a good spot to take shots of this WindMill, unfortunately it really started to blow and rain as soon as I got out of the car, still I think it was worth getting wet for the light was just delightful.

Cancun is an unusual city in that it is surrounded by water but is not an island. The resorts are on a narrow strip of land that leads up to Cancun. Every direction you look there is water. The Caribbean is a bright blue color with strips of green. The beaches are a white sand that always feels cool to your feet. / This image is made up of 5 images with a 1 stop change in each, and merged into a HDRI by Photomatrix.
