Well, things went okay….I learned some things to do for the next time. It apparently was not well advertised, so there were almost no people…...but I did make back my registration fee, plus a little, so I was not unhappy all things considered. Everyone there was upset and unhappy about the lack of promotion, some left early and didnt come back the next day….It was the first one there, so next year for them will be better…...I gave out a lot of cards and made contacts, so that works for me…...
next I have a doggie fun day in mid july…....’pooches in the park’.....so, off to get more dog pictures done!!!
i dont suppose anyone has figured out how to get more than 24 hours out of a day???
I can see I am missing some great work…...

I know exactly how you feel. I did my third art showing on Sunday and am starting to realize you have to be in the right place at the right time to really sell work! I take it as exposure, and contacts (like you said) and it is always good to show your work whenever you can! I get a lot of commissions that way! I have even discovered that promotion does not always mean people will come.. I showed in a very highly advertised event and had a small amount of people come through. Showing art and hoping it sells is tough and no one but us artist can understand that! Don’t stop you sound positive and that is all you can be!! Good luck!!

Shame about your fair, but unfortunately that is how they are,They pick it up, turn it over and then put it down. , though having said that we took Diane’s (my daughter) painted glass and sold every piece, it just depends and it also depends on the organizers, if they have advertised properly and well. Better luck next time. Look forward to the doggie pics, and no haven’t yet found how to make the day stretch like elastic. hah. love and hugs
