Road To Nowhere
Well on the road back to Ballarat anyway ! {same thing }!! l came across this old car ,it remembers life past as it watches the new auto’s pass by,never to travel the same roads but frozen in time forever

Wow, sentimental to me, as my dad bought a butcher’s van in 1938 and mum & dad moved to Qld shortly after their wedding on 8th of 8th 1938. It was a mottle green, a mixture of peeling paint …. I have no idea what happened to it. My mum was born near Ballarat. I would love to see more of these relics in that district. Great Choice.

This Looks almost like an HDR.
I love the Contrast of colours, you have Composed this really beautifully.
Awesome Perspective, I really like how the 90 degree angle made by the Window and the Hood makes for a comfortable Aesthetics as from the sky to the trees and then the Highway I think you put some ponderous thought into composing this particular image Trudi. Ultra Cool!!!

Thanks so much for your comment maybe we have found your parents old van ! Ballarat is a wonderful place to discover lots of these old vehicles,we have several properties around us that still use old relic tractors as bore pumps ! quite comical to watch working !

Road to freedom looks like road going nowhere to that old relic. I wonder if the people who once felt so proud of their new toy, would appreciate that it is still giving joy to people in its retirement. Wonderful vivid colours captured.
