Well spotted ! Very well framed and a very colourful snake. Weren’t you worried about being bitten ?

Hi thanks ..re bitten no this one was a tiny baby only tree or grass snakes they change colour depending on where they are, sometimes can look blue. They are not dangerous this one was only 15 centimetres of so and thinner than a little finger we have them all the time, Python hangs around too at times not worried about it unless he drops down off the ceiling of the veranda !! lots of goannas around they are all more worried about me!!

What an incredible place to live ! We get skinks and many birds here, plus the occasional frog, but no snakes.

thanks james …l I or we, have got a really difficult 1 acre it has a large gully through it too expensive to put in a drain so made a dam [we had access to digging equipment at the time] and had to let the bush take over as it only will grow gumtrees palms etc the soil is non existant, just shale and clay, there is bush and a creek [mostly dry ] all around so wildlife wanders through and around.
