Tamborine Botanical Gardens
Botanical Gardens at Tamborine Mountain; Hinterland of the Gold Coast. Queensland. This is one of many decorative bridges across the rainforest streams meandering around this area which once was thousands of years ago was a series of volcanos, this is one of my favourite places to go to paint and relax wonderful birds to observe hundreds of beautiful exotic and native flora also.

ginnymac in reply to Kristina K’s comment, 3 months ago
thanks Kristina, how annoying! I guess that is why the palms are so tall though, it gets really cold in winter too, everyone has pot belly stoves.

It’s all about angles and perspective. [ I think you know, you are just mucking around ! :) ]
ginnymac in reply to reflector’s comment, 20 days ago
no I have no idea! when I first put a pic on somebody here said great dof so I had to look up Google…. gee I am trained to paint! although my art teacher said I should give up art and take photos when I was the first person around [here] to buy a digital [ I had sold something so went and spent the money straight away on a camera ] painting is a real struggle for me, it doesn’t come naturally, except colour …

Dof’s brother is DOF DOF ! You know, that sound of a P-Platers car with that massive car stereo ! [ It’s really Depth of Field – the sharp subject and progressively blurred background ].
POV = Point of View = Perspective = Angle to the subject.
You [ Ginny ] use that in painting and drawing to create the illusion of a vanishing point in a composition. :)
[ Sorry if I am talking about things you already know ]

hehehe ah i just is a simple soul… with simple thinks. really nice of you James minding my own…..One day I’ll get brave and see how to work the cameras others things rather than auto.
