Rustic – Wood and Iron

An old wood and iron shed at the famous site of the Krohmann – Ackermann Cottage, Hill End, Rural New South Wales.

In the case of the Krohmann – Ackermann Cottage, the conservation process came not a moment too soon, with half a metre of sediment filling its rooms, and years of disuse, the cottage was only being held up by the blackberry bushes that entwined it!

The Krohmann – Ackermann Cottage has now been lovingly restored.
