Ocean views from Umagico Beach, Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland.

The tree is a Black Sheoak (Allocasuarina littoralis).
It is a small tree and has a slender trunk and a sparse, dark-green, conical crown. The bark is brown, hard and closely fissured. The leaves are minute, tooth-like, pointed, 0.3-0.9mm long. They are arranged in whorls of 6-8 at 4-10mm intervals along needle-like, blackish-green, ribbed, straight branchlets, up to 35cm long and 1mm diameter.

100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of “Ocean Views at Umagico” will be donated to “thegreataustraliancancerbushwalk” for the Cancer Council.
