When will he get home?
This is our cat Funny Face. We had her the longest of any of our cats. She was a Ragdoll Siamese. My husband was so attached to her that he kissed her the first thing when he got home from work. When he was in France, I sent him a letter and made sure to put her tiny little paw prints on the letter with XXXXOOOOO from her. LOL She waited by the window or the door for him to come home. that his how I came up with the name for this work.
She will always be special in our memories of her.

Very wonderful cat, the guardian’s intensity in her body and eyes.
amarica in reply to linaji’s comment, 7 months ago
Sometimes she would have to wait weeks if he was in Europe. We lost her when she was about 13. The vet could not determine what was wrong. It broke our heart in pieces.

Thank you so much Barbara

Great shot of Funny Face. I guess we are both cat lovers. I love that the composition shows her waiting faithfully at the window.

Dayonda, about 1 month ago
She is a beauty. They get really worried when anybody goes outside—there are predators out there! And they can’t wait till you’re safely back indoors where cats, tall and short, belong.
she looks a bit like our Nevada, who has some of the same lineage. I use Nevada for my avatar.
Elaine Harriott, about 1 month ago
She is absolutley gorgeous, I’ve been reading your wonderful story about FunyFace – this shot is so beautiful!
amarica in reply to Dayonda’s comment, about 1 month ago
Thanks Dayonda. Funnyface hated going outside. She followed me out a couple of times and I did not realize it and then I heard her crying outside for me when I was back in the house. She just wanted to be wherever we were. Nevada is a beauty too. xxxx
