Red Desert Energy
When you come out to California, if you travel out across the desert to Palm Springs, you will pass through a valley that is clustered with energy windmills. I used a high-grain film to emphasize the sand of the desert and captured this shot with real natural red light on a hot evening on my way home from Palm Springs. This is not photoshop work. The color was red this night…it was an awsome scene.

Filipe Goucha, 6 months ago
Great colors, must be awsome that spot.
amarica in reply to dehk’s comment, 6 months ago
It is grainy. I used a grainy textured film to emphasize the sandy desert. Thanks Dehk

wow this is amazing, i am yet to see these in person however i cant wait to shoot these windmills, I think they are so awesome and you captured them so well
amarica in reply to Keegan Wong’s comment, 4 months ago
thank you Keegan. The grain is part of the image…reflective of sand. The effects would have been different using a high speed film.

Thank you Alex. I will look forward to your version of these landmarks.
