Written in the stars

This is a fantasy art with a Christian theme. It is a mixed work of photographs, drawing and digital imaging.

The theme is salvation through Christ who is represented by the cross in the sky I used a variety of images as a collage to create this finished work.

This work was inspired by the following poem:

WORSHIP

WITH A THUNDEROUS VOICE, HE SPOKE UNTO MAN.
HE SAID UNTO ONE, “I AM, THAT I AM.”

TO ONE MAN HE SAID, “COME FOLLOW ME,
I’LL SHOW YOU THE WAY, I’LL GIVE YOU THE KEY.”

HE CARRIED ONE UP IN A WHIRLWIND CLOUD.
HE APPEARED TO ANOTHER IN A WHITE SHINING SHROUD.

HE APPEARED IN THEIR DREAMS, AND SENT ANGELS DOWN
TO WARN THEM OF DANGERS AND HELP THEM REBOUND.

SOME THOUGHT HE WAS MANY ‘CAUSE THEY’D FORGOTTEN THE ONE
AND THEY BOWED DOWN TO IDOLS AND WORSHIPPED THE SUN.

THEIR LIVES BECAME EMPTY SEARCHING FOR TREASURES OF GOLD.
WHILE OTHERS WENT LOOKING WITHIN THEIR OWN SOULS.

EACH ONE BELIEVING THAT HIS WAS THE WAY.
REFUSING TO LISTEN, THEY FELL ON THEIR FACE.

BUT THEIR KNEES WOULD NOT BOW, THEIR NECKS WOULD NOT BEND.
ALL ROADS, THEY FOUND OUT LEAD TO GOD IN THE END.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THEY’D FORGOTTEN ONE THING.
THE GATES OF HEAVEN ARE OPENED
BY JESUS, OUR KING.
